Educating and Caring for your Child with Confidence.
Town & Country chooses teachers based on education levels, experience and character. We understand that each family’s experience at our centers will be based on the quality of care and education each teacher has to offer your child. An educated, experienced, professional teacher makes a difference in each classroom, from the physical environment to positive interactions. Our high standards are apparent as you meet and form trusting relationships with your child’s teachers.
Upon joining our team of teaching professionals, teachers go through an extensive interview process to assure their compatibility with our high standards. Each teacher completes an Orientation and Training Program which comprehensively covers everything from understanding the Town & Country mission statement, goals and objectives to health and safety, supervision, curriculum, communication and so much more. Each staff member is assigned a mentor who is available to coach and support them during this training process.
The center director creates and maintains individual Professional Development Plans for each teacher. Appropriate courses, trainings and in-services are continually researched and made available to our team of teachers. Our professional development meets all state licensing requirements, NAEYC standards and School Readiness criteria.
We strive to assure that every classroom, infant through preschool, has a lead teacher with a minimum of a CDA Credential (Child Development Associate Credential). Teachers are trained in Pediatric First Aid/CPR with current certificates.
In addition, preschool teachers must have a CDA Credential and a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education college credits.
